In 1965 and after training for five years during the period of his study of architecture, Adnan Aswad started his work as an architect at consulting firm includes all architectural,

construction and mechanical disciplines at a time this is the general trend for all well-known consulting offices in Iraq.

The beginning of independent architectural character was in 1970. Circumstances helped in establishing an engineering specializing firm includes all disciplines of engineering consultancy.

The firm in general worked in government projects when commissioned by

the official institutions. At the time working in the private sector was limited on some projects.

The firm worked on projects outside Baghdad, like Mosul, Basra, Amara, Diyala, Najaf, Karbala and other cities of Iraq, which contributed to the formation of a good reputation among the governmental institutions due to hard work, commitment, creativity and a good job.

The Office received a lot of invitations to participate in competitions and offers from most of the government departments to participate in the projects.

In 2006, Adnan Aswad Company for Engineering Consultancy was founded in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.

Although highly experienced in the design, documentation and project implementation issues, the company faced difficulty in adapting and access to the same prepared level of work by other international consultants working there, since the consultant working level in the United Arab Emirates was higher than in the Republic of Iraq, which distinguishes the company at the present time with the additional experience from others in Iraq.

Now this company is able to offer a high level of work in spite of the delay in the establishment of the United Arab Emirates.

Aswad Company met all invitations to contribute in large projects and has provided designs with the high standard required .
