On the 13th of October 1987 one of the Iranian rockets hit Bilat Al Shuhada Elementary School in Dora -Baghdad caused large and serious destruction to the school building and also causing childhood massacre, killing 43 students all under 12.

The municipality of Baghdad awarded the design of this memorial monument to our firm on the basis that our task is to design the building and all interior, sculptures, in addition to the structural designs required to construct external sculptures done by Iraqi artists.
The building contains and includes a museum, cinema, café, shops, and other childhood services and recreational areas and spaces.
