Presidential Rest House

Client: Presidential Administrative Office.
Location: Iraq– Baghdad
Price: 15,000,000 USD
Date: 1989

It was a closed invitation to work out a design for a rest house to be built on top of one of the hills 30 meters above the road level south of Baghdad.
All facilities and functions available in the presidential palaces are to be present in this design. The design is distinctive in its mixed functions, forms and spaces, because of the hilly shaped area assigned to this building and also due to the surrounding landscape and approach to the hill top.
