Adnan Aswad Engineering Consultants was established in 1970 practicing architecture in a small flat at Al Jumhouriya Street at the commercial center in Baghdad.

In 1985 moved to a much bigger working space at a building owned by Mr. A. Aswad.

This building was also as an experiment in using natural stone as an Iraqi local material for facades.

 Since then our firm is recognized with the character of this building.
